New 54-100 ekW
Diesel-Fueled Generator Set

Caterpillar Inc. announces the availability of a new 54–100 ekW rated diesel-fueled generator set. Powered by the C4.4 engine, this generator set is designed for standby, prime, stationary and rental use. Utilizing elements of ACERT™ Technology, it is capable of meeting EPA Tier 2 emissions compliance without sacrificing fuel economy or performance.

The C4.4 provides optimized engine compatibility and improved electrical performance to deliver high efficiency with low voltage dips and reactances. A new block structure and bore finish result in reduced oil consumption.

Features on the generator set include EMCP 3 controllers, 2/3 pitch winding, automatic voltage regulator and multiple excitation options. Enclosures, fuel tanks and circuit breakers are optional on this package. Extended service intervals and ease of maintenance are additional benefits of the C4.4 generator set.
